These ratings are recognized as healthy hips and will not be eligible for a replacement puppy.
The Purchaser has several options if the dog/puppy has a genetic defect [hip/elbow dysplasia or eye defect] *If the puppy/dog does need to be laid to rest because of the severity of the defect, the purchaser may choose to receive a replacement puppy of the same value within one year of the defect diagnosis.
*If the Purchaser chooses to keep the puppy/dog and keep up with the condition there are two options.
*1. The Purchaser can choose to have half the purchase price refunded [not including shipping] to help cover the costs of caring for the puppy/dog and no replacement puppy will be provided.
*2. The Purchaser can choose to have a replacement puppy instead of having money refunded. We do not require the defective dog to be returned to us. We know you love and care for the dog and wouldn't expect you to part with it at a time when it needs you.
